KiN Group Responsibility

Collection of Stary Gorod (Old Town) brandies

In 1999 the KiN Group followed non-standard way when launching Stary Gorod brandy. The stake was placed not on a specific target group based on sex and age. In announcements and the special actions devoted to a new product, consumers of Stary Gorod brandy were described as follows: “People of creative and dynamical professions, participants of fashionable presentations, press shows, parties and photo biennale. Strong, original people with a wide range of the acquaintances, aspiring to novelty of decisions. Thus judges of the sophisticated Russian style”. In other words brandy was positioned for creative people frequently having “project” work, instead of a stable salary.

The style and legend of Stary Gorod — as fashionable drink — were successfully supported with its price. Experiment went right: today Stary Gorod brandy worthily represents the KiN Group at bright and stylish events and lives in home bars of many famous creative people.

Some years ago Stary Gorod brandy was rebranded: appearance was changed and “the psychological price” was increased. The updated collection of Stary Gorod brandies aged for 5, 8 and 10 years won a stereotype that a prestigious and elegant product can be only a western one. The designer of the collection Stary Gorod brandies — a famous French designer Philippe Seys has experience of long cooperation with famous cognac houses from France.
